The Challenge

FTG Equipment Solutions is a product innovation company that works with various world-class manufacturers to sell lines of products of industrial equipment. With sales mostly reliant on events, trade shows, and independent sales representatives, the changing landscape in 2020 opened an opportunity for FTG to explore sales through digital channels. The team at FTG engaged The Moving Company to help them create a library of visual assets that properly showcased the products and scale their digital efforts to increase direct sales.

The Process

While FTG has multiple product lines of industrial generators, fuel cubes, light towers, and pumps, The Moving Company began with a pilot project focusing on the Mega Silent generator line, conducting various interviews and research initiatives to become fluent in the industry nuance. 

Our strategic research and analysis began with keyword research, search volume assessment, online competition, and online opportunities for the generator market. From this research foundation, our team developed a pilot paid search campaign that was able to generate quality leads at a reasonable number using a focused digital experience and landing page with strategic messaging and high quality visual assets.

Problem Solved

The results from the initial campaign provided The Moving Company the opportunity to continue running paid search programs across other products lines. Additionally, the creative team also delivered an entire suite of product-showcasing videos, marketing materials, high-quality photographs, and a generator-specific sales website.
